How do I delete items ???

USED THE EM-ADT tool on .eco file that had 64,000 Items. Couldn't get items count down even with CTL Y delete on my 2,000 item count phone book. It deleted the entries from Phone Book but not reduce item count.

Somehow I made a backup file that came up with the 21,502 Items so I am good to go, but concerned about future item count if deleting entries doesn't reduce item count.

Marking an item and pressing DELETE key (no control or Y necessary), should bring up 'delete items entirely from file (all views)' prompt. Did it do that ?

Admin Administrator I love Ecco! Posts: 134	Re: How do I delete items ??? Reply #1 - 06/29/22 at 14:58:08 If you delete an item from a folder, it removes the item from that folder only, not from the file. Only deleting an item entirely will remove it from a file.
