ECCOext application error: when scheduling
11/04/08 at 12:20:16
I get an "application error" when using ECCOext. And, do not get the error using the regular ECCO program. The errors occurs when using the standard either the ECCO default template using ECCOext or the new default template. The error (An application error has occurred. Please exit Ecco and restart) occurs when trying to drag a name from the phone book to either the weekly or monthly calendar. Dragging to the daily calendar works fine, however. And as mentioned, if I open any ECCO files, either the original default templates or the new EXT templates with the original ECCO program, the error does not occur, and I am able to drag and schedule to weekly and monthly calendars just fine.

I have just tested and am unable to duplicate the error.
Set up the calendar in weekly view, opened the phone book using the right button, then dragged a name to the calendar. All I got was a dialog box asking me to set the time for the entry.
I used the ECCOext.

What is graphical mode? I am used to only one presentation and do not see that as an option in the menus.

technically it is "summary vs. detail viewing"
shortcut key is Shift + F10
(no effect in daily view other than resetting the view)

Unable to duplicate the error.
Set the calendar to weekly, Shift-F10, right click on Phone Book (and a Note Pad), dragged and drooped from teh Phone book (and the note Pad) to teh calander, dropped an appointment into the selected day.
Deleted te entries from teh Phone Book (and the Note Pad) and again no error.
Re Ran and deleted the entries fromteh Calendar and again no error.
Exited ECCOext and restarted and still no error.
Sorry I am unable to duplcate (unless I am doing something wrong).
bty.. Thank you for changing the colour, much easier to look at.

Therein may be the problem; though I keep up with the changes I am using the 4.0.0.1 release.
I can load the 4.0.0.3 release as I do not use the Drag and drop feature often if at all. I could then test it if you like.

funny, I was using 4.0.0.1 in my first tests, and thought maybe the .3 was different, and explained your results!
