you can set whatever background colors you desire.
 
 
also,
 
 
from within notepad, type new item and Control + R a few times. then select all the rows (click on first item text sapce , drag down to last item, release click).
 
 
Then Control + Y for selecting outline styles.
 
 
 
 
you can select size color, etc.
 
 
you can also make DEFAULT for new views by checking that box at bottom.
