Hi there,

I'm catching up with Ecco and in the mean time trying to get it going on OS X (Mac)
- I have Ecco running using Codeweavers Crossover
- I have Eccoext running using Codeweavers Crossover too

Can someone tell me if and since when (using what extension) you can drag'n drop a jpeg screenshot from explorer onto Ecco?
Purpose is to have the image visible within Ecco so not the filename.extension

(I want to compare capabilities draging from the finder)

Thanks,

Erwin

Yes, i just started using Crossover on my Mac to run Ecco.  It works pretty well with the 32 bit 4.01 but don’t now how to load the more advanced 64 bit version of Ecco into Crossover.  Would love to have some of those features.

I had been using Parellels to run Ecco but this was causing my computer to run hot.  Crossover appears to be much less taxing on the computer resources and so the fan doesn’t run as often if at all.

I can't comment on MAC, but I run the extension every day successfully in my crossover for linux, just by starting the extension program. Sometimes I have to start it twice as it sometimes crashes the first time, but simply starting it again works for me.  Good luck!

Try the latest Parallels version, v 14.0, is more stable and should run more smoothly on your Mac.

I experienced the same problem with Parallels running Ecco.  And yes Crossover is less taxing running Ecco.

Have you upgraded to Catalina on the MAC?

Neither Ecco or Crossover will run on Catalina.  I don't know if Crossover 19 will run Ecco on Catalina or not.

I'm hesitant to try this since it was such a pain to reload Mojave back on my computer.
