I'm happily using eccoext 4.0.0.1 on XP. I used the onedir install and am running on a Toshiba laptop with a 24" external monitor.
Problem is that when running Ecco via eccoext, I cannot resize the Ecco window. It is maximum or in tasktray.
When I just run eco32.exe, I don't have this problem.
Is there any option I'm missing??

I must say that I have not been able to properly set it as the primary monitor.
By toggling FN - F5 I switch between laptop screen / ext. monitor...
It's a nVidia graphical Go 7300 card.
On Desktop right-click / properties / there I have Display: with dropdown with 2 choices:  
1. Multiple Monitors
2. SyncMaster 245B
 
Use this as primary is greyed out...
 
When I select #2 it always goes back to 1#
In the advanced tab, I get GeForce Go 7300 and nView and have possibility to choose single or dual, vertical or horizontal expansion, clone.
It is set to single and 24"...
 
Double clicking on ecco title bar doesn't give help opportunity...
