http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/ecco_pro/ The new Yahoo forum. --> THIS IS THE ECCO "FREE" FORUM, THE PLACE TO POST QUESTIONS ETC. , this is the birthplace of "EccoExt.", etc. Everyone welcomed. Note: It is a 'closed list' requiring verification that you are not a spam/email harvesting bot. ie. Posting requires FREE membership.
----> This is where a core group of ecco experts may be found.
http://www.EccoWiki.com/ The home of the EccoPro Slang Rule Wiki!.
Worth a visit!
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/eccopro/ The old Yahoo forums, that was taken over by compusol site owner (see below):
PLEASE BE AWARE ---> ANY POSTS IN THE "ECCOPRO" FORUM ARE HARVESTED BY EMAIL STEALING/HARVESTING BOTS AND USED BY SPAM SOURCES AND CRIMINALS TO TARGET POSTERS THERE.
HIGHLY CAUTIONED *NOT* TO POST ANYTHING IN THE "YAHOO ECCOPRO" FORUM UNLESS YOU VIA WEB AND PREVIOUSLY SELECTED THE 'HIDE MY EMAIL' ADDRESS (Sadly, since the takeover by a 'new regime' various posts & topics are silently suppressed, what posts there are a filled with mis-information about Ecco, and links to other selected free help sites REMOVED!).
, AND PLEASE DON'T BE TRICKED TO PAY MONEY TO GET ANY "FREE" FILES, ETC.!!.
http://www.compusol.org/ecco/ Was a great site (although had become very ugly with advertisements), used to be recommended as a great site to start with, but now requires warning: (1) the site contains plagiarized material: Attribution of source NOT the actual original author, (2) the site owner removed the link to the "FREE" ecco_pro group from the 'old list' once the site owner took control over the eccopro list.. and (3) the files charged for on the site are outdated (ie. useless) , and supersceded by tools/utilities available for FREE elsewhere -- including at
www.EccoTools.com , the new Ecco_Pro Forum files section, and Dave's site (cold-mountain).
http://www.eccorocks.com/ Doesn't seem to have been updated in a while, but still a great site.

HTML download site for FREE last edition Ecco Pro
http://www.eccoMAGIC.com Just have to love the site!!
http://john.redmood.com/organizers.html Another 'not updated in years' site.... but... this is where I first found Ecco... and so.... still deserving of a mention.
http://eccotools.cvs.sourceforge.net/eccotools/EccoPy-0.1.5/ Amazing source for DDE to Ecco examples. David Gustafson's published his Python Ecco Tools & examples. NICE!
http://www.fredshack.com/docs/pim.html Mix of old and new, current & out of date info... but there is a lot of it! An interesting site to visit when time allows.
also, Jim Carter shares:
Quote:I think this one qualifies.
http://www.outlinersoftware.com/ Certainly eccopro is mentioned often in search.
The only question is concentration on outliners
rather than eccopro.
Enjoy!
