all the parts are 'out there' and working,

no one has tried to put them together yet.

Simple as 1-2-3 (in theory at least).

1. DOS emulator for pocketPC

2. Windows 3.11 running in Dos emulator

3. 16 bit ecco up and running in emulator

hi,
theory & practice.

theory:
run ecco inside a mobile environment.

practice:
you can try using Intel Netbooks, or the smaller ones (running embedded-XP).

- there's a couple of phones which support embedded-XP-i86 and from what i've seen, you can possibly run ecco in 480x320 mode (the resolution of the embedded device).

pros:
- you can run ecco, skype, and have a phone to use.

cons:
- you need to custom order from Fujitsu, Panasonic or an OEM who can assemble this for you.
- don't drop the phone...
