Hi forum,

Probably the most evident question, but with all the extensions and keyb. shortcuts I'm losing ctrl Smiley
What is the most efficient way to get an outline from Ecco into Word or Writer and retain formatting + columns, possibly do some numbering?

I've looked at MagicMerge, but I guess that one is focused at mail merge.
At the moment I do select -> right click -> context menu | copy -> rtf text....

Thanks for enlightening me!

yes.  that is best way.

be sure to open sub items, and have entire section marked.

If you want auto-numbering,  there is freeware tool  on eccotools board,

called something like slang outline copy or some such name....

you can also print out to rtf virtual printer (like eprint) directly from ecco.

it actually works pretty darn good to,  but not nearly as convenient as slang outline copy.
