Hi folks,
 
Tried to use eccomagic_2_monitor_fix and run into following problems:
- The fix seems to be recognized as a virus by AntiVir Guard -> TR/Crypt.CFI.Gen
  I suppose that the remainder of the problems follow from here..
 
I tried to choose ignore and click through....
Several pop-ups with the virus warning come up
Finally it seems the fix is nowhere to be seen and doesn't seem to function...
 
ALSO:
I seem to have lost ECCO Shooter in the process.
 
What can I do to work around this?
How to get the Shooter back?

1. Most of the tools 'hack' into the core ecco program.   Some execute it's code,  most hook it's keys/messages, etc.  The anti-virus  (and even the newer vers. of Zone Alarm)  give warnings ... ie.     code design looks to them like virus.   (Which in way is fair-- tools are special  'ecco specific' designed virus or sorts...)
 
Usually have to add program to anti-virus ignore/exceptions list.
 
I even have to do this myself (zone alarm)....
 
 
you can report the issue to the anti-virus company (used to),  but often the next version of tool, etc.  goes back to triggering alerts.
 
 
2.  as for ' dragging ecco window to 'right screen'  =  no prog. function any more '  with program running,  and ecco in RIGHT side of screen,  you not see popups  ?  
 
 
3. DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION (just updated and released based on your comments...),   (it will also fix pulldown menus much nicer!).
 
 
4. have tested with shooter (new vers).   Works for me!    [if you having troubles with it,   give more if & can take took at.  Could be related to positioning of your shooter icon].
