I just had an interesting error message that occurred when text was cut from the heading item in the notepad.  My problem was that the clerical staff, instead of creating a new item, typed in the heading row thus changing the name of the associated folder.  Not a general problem but when I deleted the added text using CTRL-X I got a C++ run time error.  This occurred when running eccoext and does not occurr without eccoext.  Attached is a copy of the screen shot of the error.  In this example the word test in the top row was to be cut from the row.

There are three choices, Abort Retry and Ignore

Ignore cuts the infrmation and allows it to be pasted somewhere else, it appears to make CTRL X do what it is supposed to

Abort causes ecco to close, don;t know if there are problems with the data in closing but it is not a good thing.

Retry forces the error message

An Application error has occurred.  Please exit Ecco and restart.

Thanks

Albert
