I've been using Ecco Pro for years, but am relatively new to this forum. I have a couple of questions...
What's the difference between EPro & Ecco Magic? Is EM an add-on or standalone program? Does EM replace EP?

2. EccoMagic is a paste/copy extension. Allows pasting blocks/web clips into your ecco outline, copy & paste items with all folder values (such as alarms on date settings, etc.) and other things copy text from most web browsers (Opera not one of them, sorry) and paste into ecco with sub items contaniing a links list for the original text, and info about where tiem copied from.

3. EccoPro is the outlining program itself.

4. You need EccoPro to use EccoMagic.

Ecco Pro is a personal information manager for Windows and Ecco Magic acts as an memory reporter.

Actually, there are about 50 ecco magic tools/extensions (most freeware) on the eccotools.com board.

Ecco Magic MEMORY REPORTER is a freeware tool that acts as a memory reporter. (as does HOTDOG and some parts of the EM-ADT).

Ecco Magic (Classic) is a cut & paste tool... (see eccomagic.com or thread in eccotools.com board)
