Is there an special version ecco that it does not write any information to registry?
In other word green version.

The slang extension (see http://eccowiki.com) does a good job of redirecting registry reads/writes to the local ecco32.exe directory.

Am not sure if is 100% green, (ie., ecco still may write some info), but all relevant info is taken from the drive, not registry, so can run even without admin priv. etc.
