How do I copy an item's information to the clipboard so that the item text and
just the columns for which it has values are copied?

In this case I do not want many null or empty values for columns being shown
for which there are no values assigned, AND I would like the values of columns
that are assigned but those columns might not be visible in the current view
(notepad)

Does not sound like a good idea.

let's say you have a folder "good looking", and a folder "very ugly",

you're copy would end up being:

Person X ... 1

and you'd have no idea what that 1 meant!

sounds like you want more of a report for selected items, showing the name of any folder and its value.
