Results from launching an item;  in this case the ecco_pro list
using the following command.

what is error 5? since the launch does take place.

I sent the above message to the ecco_pro email site in June 2007.
The images that allow it to make sense are wiped out in the Yahoo
elimination of images mechanism.
see if the following image is visible.

http://mail.google.com/mail/?fs=1&tf=1&source=ig&view=cv&search= all&th=11357d1df13f83cf&shva=1

this is still happening.

Enjoy!

1. not visible...

2. Most error codes of this type relate to Ecco not finding the file it was trying to launch, or not  finding an associated  executable to launch the document.

3. is the launch defined as a program or a file (?)

what is *EXACTLY* the launch command you are using

and

this happen only on the Ecco_Pro page... or other pages as well ?

(maybe even most likely...  CHECK THE FOLDER VALUE FOR EXTRA (hidden type) CHARACTERS... perhaps...)

:)

hey,

check out and try the trick from:

http://ecco.empowers.us

and see if that solves the issue.

(it will also fix your file name auto-launching!)

Admin -

I finally found the problem.
I did use the above link.
I did the same as others might, and looked at the image.
I use that myself, and try to see the details.

In the image there is a problem with the location of the "<launch-string>" circled quotation marks -
they are indicated in circles marked around the Launch Internet command name and they are
already around the launch-string in the command window.

That is only a distraction, because you rapidly find out that putting the quotes in the circles won't do much.

The trickier error is in the location of the radio button in Launch Document instead of Launch Program.
The error goes away when you launch the default browser as a program
instead of presuming the item in the net location column is a document to be launched.

In my case the problem is solved.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Enjoy!
